How would you contribute?
Support financial operations by preparing, analyzing, maintaining and reviewing various financial statements, records and reports. Conduct ongoing analysis of manufacturing constraints, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying manufacturing activities as required within assigned manufacturing site. Prepare data for journal entries, review and reconcile general ledger accounts and verify related financial statements for reasonableness Accumulate and document internal control processes and procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Perform analysis to identify operational variances including purchase price and material usage variances to standards on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Perform analysis and reporting to assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Work with the accounting team to prepare the quarterly forecast of projected spending and operational variances for financial reporting purposes.
- Perform accounting functions of the monthly close process.
- Verify standard costs & bills of materials are accurate.
- Analyze production scrap on a weekly basis and distribute a summary report to managers.
- Manage and maintain inventory disposition requests and monitor inventory for obsolescence.
- Create inventory items, maintain active items, inactivate and obsolete items including the maintenance of customer pricing and raw materials.
- Assist in the improvement of internal controls.
- Assist with yearend accounting processes and annual financial audit.

- B.S. in Finance and/or Accounting or related field
- 5 or more years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment – costing preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic knowledge of general business concepts
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite (Excel-Pivot Tables) PowerBI, OneStream and Delmiaworks (IQMS) a plus
- Capability to solve complex problems, utilizing strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to assemble resources needed to orchestrate multiple projects/activities and accomplish goals
- Model a collaborative leadership style with the ability to build partnerships and influence others into action
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and consultative approach; tactful in dealing with people at all levels
