How You Will Help:
- Assist with execution of physical inventory, from preparation to completion, including day of participation
- Assist with capital expenditure, spending tracking, analysis, and other reporting as assigned
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and related data per company policy and US GAAP, and collaboratively work with other functions to ensure reconciling items are quickly resolved
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Analyze financial statements and related information specific to assigned areas and investigate discrepancies and variances
- Support month-end close process
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and communicate monthly ad-hoc reports, graphics, and schedules
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits
- Capture the plant’s total cost of production by assessing the variable and fixed costs of each step of production
- Classify costs accurately
- Compile and analyze financial information and make recommendations about cost efficiency and financially feasible cost options
- Analyze costs of raw materials and other supplies
- Track plant scrap using appropriate methods and systems, calculate scrap rates, and report in a timely manner to identified team members
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned
What You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
