Join our team: Fast Break, our Article 31 Community Mental Health Clinic is focused on providing equity and social justice in mental health. We are looking to hire talented child and family therapists to join our growing teams located in East Harlem and the Bronx. This is an excellent opportunity for creative and motivated therapists who are passionate about working with children and families to gain experience and develop deeper clinical skills.
What we are looking for in a Child and Family Therapist: (Skills, Education and Requirements)
- Creative and motivated therapists that are committed to clinical excellence and are passionate about working with children and families.
- Fluency in Spanish is required
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT.
- Therapists with a desire to learn, grow and share experiences with our diverse teams
- Some experience working with children / families
- Some experience providing telehealth / virtual therapy
- Responsive and effective communicator
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
What you’ll be doing as a Child and Family therapist:
- Provide psychotherapy and play/creative arts therapy to a minimum weekly case load of 15 children, adolescents. There is opportunity to build your case load to 25 or more if you desire
- Collateral work with caregivers to support treatment plan goals and parenting
- Maintain accurate client charts which include documentation of sessions and timely formulation of treatment plans
