Job Summary: Ensures the company is efficiently hiring the best possible talent by developing and executing recruiting plans, collaborating with hiring manager, and providing measurement data on effectiveness of recruiting and hiring efforts.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Roles and Responsibilities: other duties may be assigned.
- Understands the job requirements for all non-driving positions available in the organization in order to recruit candidates for employment opportunities.
- Manages the recruiting process, including assigning new position requests, interviewing, providing hiring recommendations, checking references, making employment offers, and sending correspondence to candidates.
- Evaluates and filters job applicants and schedules candidate interviews.
- Collaborates with hiring managers in order to proactively keep candidates moving through the hiring process.
- Registers for and participates in career fairs or other recruiting events as needed (may require travel)
- Conducts periodic follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements:
- Communicates effectively.
- Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrates understanding of Federal, State, and local employment laws and practices.
- Possesses experience with traditional and digital employment opportunity marketing.
- Exhibits knowledge of various social networking platforms and other media sources.
- Uses computers and software proficiently.
- Exhibits ability to read, write, talk, and head; add, subtract, multiply, and divide; and/or move up to 25 lbs. as required.
Education and/or experience:
Bachelor’s degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
