The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a Stormwater Manager to manage, supervise, and coordinate the services and activities of the City’s Stormwater Program; to coordinate assigned activities with other city departments, divisions, outside agencies, public officials, regulatory officials, and the general public; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Engineer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience:
Five years of increasingly responsible experience in Stormwater management or related work including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, to include a program that has a Stormwater utility fee.
Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, environmental sciences, public administration, or a related field.
LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Possession of an appropriate, valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Preferred:
Certified Construction Manager, Certified Floodplain Manager certification, Certified Stormwater Manager, Project Management Professional, Municipal Administration course completion.
From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 – 6 weeks. The process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving history check.
