The Information Technology (IT) department plays a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s success by leading the company on a digital transformation journey. In this transformation, IT collaboratively partners with stakeholders to gain insights into their work, challenges, and needs to deliver digital solutions and keep solutions performing well. These solutions enable automation, delight users, and equips users to perform more value-add activities.
We are excited to be adding a new member to our team! Daktronics has embarked on a journey for integrated business planning and have selected CCH Tagetik as our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system to support this journey. This new role will support the implementation of the system and future enhancements to achieve Daktronics objectives and will administer and deliver solutions through data entry forms, workflows, reports, and integrating data through ETL. There will be a partnership with the long-term planning phases of integrated business planning roadmap development to surface ideas for system and integration improvements. This partnership will include engaging with teams involved with integrated business planning on our digital transformation journey.
What would I do?
As the EPM System Administrator you will:
- Maintain the CCH Tagetik Platform including Consolidation and Planning Applications, Demand and Supply Planning Applications, and Analytics Information Hub (AIH).
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to make progress toward the Integrated Business Planning vision.
- By providing technical insights and making system configurations on dimensions, datasets, and ETL necessary.
- May include developing new or enhancing existing data entry forms/reports, metadata updates, updating business calculations, etc.
- Manage environments including upgrades and environment strategies to change management.
- Monitor system performance and storage by reviewing daily logs, monitor stats for storage use, licensing usage, etc.
- Manage and maintain data interfaces from key operating systems.
- Provide and monitor user security in compliance with policy and procedures.
- Provide end-user support and system-level training.
- Reporting of software issues to vendor, where applicable.
- Documentation of related EPM System data flows and processes.
Where will I be working?
Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates. Exact working hours are flexible, but this position will be based on working during regular business hours in the Central Standard Time zone.
Requirements:
- Technical competency in EPM tools and technologies.
- Setting up and managing dimensions, datasets, and integrations.
- Understanding of SQL.
- Managing users of the system.
- Setting up and managing workflows and reports.
- Demonstrate ability to learn and implement new technologies.
- Understanding of data and process modeling to capture complex business requirements from evolving and newly proposed processes that have many interdependencies. Have demonstrated ability to use this knowledge to collaborate with the business and ask them the right questions when needed.
- Strong organizational skills including managing multiple and changing priorities.
- Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, have difficult conversations, willingness to tackle tough questions, and listening skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, or related degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Five plus years of hands-on experience with an EPM solution, preferably CCH Tagetik.
- Experience working in a team environment using Agile Methodologies is preferred.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Have a natural curiosity, especially for business acumen, processes, and technology.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbally.
- Continued willingness and desire to learn and be flexible with an evolving workload.
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked. Ability to travel periodically to other Daktronics locations. Must meet Daktronics Qualified Driver definition.
