The E-Commerce SEO Specialist is responsible to help drive the growth of our E-Commerce website by leveraging knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical SEO expertise, and a proven track record of successfully optimizing and managing SEM campaigns to maximize website visibility, traffic, and conversions. This position works closely with business development and management teams and other relevant stakeholders to develop and execute effective SEO strategies that drive traffic, increase conversions and maximize revenue.
Essential Job Functions
- Develops and implements comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, visibility, and traffic for our E-Commerce website. Collaborate with the E-Commerce web developers on content strategy, link building and keyword strategy.
- Conducts in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-converting search terms and incorporate them into website content, metadata, and other elements. Creates, reviews, and maintains promotional/navity/redirect URLs.
- Monitors and analyzes website performance using SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO software platforms. Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profiles, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. Provides periodic reports and recommendations to E-Commerce leadership.
- Engages with industry trends and stays up-to-date with algorithm changes, best practices in E-Commerce SEO and SEM, and proactively implements relevant strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Plans, recommends and assists in the execution of SEM campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising, to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
- Trains coworkers on SEO standards and optimization for content creation.
- Assesses internal requests for content changes and new features, collaborates with appropriate personnel to find constructive solutions, and designs and implements solutions accordingly. Anticipates the needs of internal and external users and identifies improvements to enhance site effectiveness.
- Collaborates with the E-Commerce Business Development Manager regarding E-Commerce to include assisting with sales and marketing campaigns, marketing strategies, customer E-Commerce agreements, etc.
- Monitor KPIs (site speed, traffic, conversions, etc.) and adjust content as necessary
- Identify and address technical issues that may impact website performance, including crawlability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data.
- Works closely with the Marketing Communications team to develop and obtain approval on all advertisement campaigns, including graphics and logos used.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Web Design, Web Applications Design or related field required.
- Minimum of one-year previous related experience in search engine optimization and content management and design required.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SEO, PPC
- Knowledge of HubSpot preferred.
- Understanding of website programming basics and JavaScript development and constraints required.
- Understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms Understanding of online Ecommerce websites required.
- Follows web design, web application and digital lifestyle trends.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console and interpreting data
- Familiar with industry-standard software like AHREFs, Moz, SEMrush, Reporting software and more
