The Sr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and presenting detailed reports by conducting research, maintaining records, and other industry data to aid management in determining marketing direction. This position is responsible for supporting the department’s operations including media campaigns, promotions, and projects, to support all aspects of selling the True product portfolio into the commercial foodservice market. This position will collaborate and work closely with our sales teams to unlock opportunities within the foodservice channel.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales teams in creating value of True products to customers and potential customers who buy its product.
- Develop and organize sales presentations and market reports based on research including marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
- Stays informed of market trends and refrigeration opportunities throughout the foodservice market.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of True’s product market competition and conducts competitive product research and pricing analysis to develop reports to aid in sales and marketing pricing deviations and decisions.
- Develop and conduct factory tours with existing and potential customers and assists in facilitating customer meetings at True as needed.
- Manage and coordinate with Media Design key information supporting creation of marketing collateral for new products and support the new product introduction process as well as suggests and creates some content materials for sales support efforts with presentations, brochures, mock-ups, website, etc.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales team and represent True at external dealer and buying group sales trainings.
- Represent True and attend trade shows and conventions.
- Help coordinate periodic internal sales team summit meetings throughout the year.
- Develop and implement training presentations on products for use by sales force and/ or to present during field training assignments based on customer specific requests.
- Manages the coordination of various aspects of the annual sales meeting activities.
- Provides guidance and assistance to the convention department with set-up of tradeshows.
- Manages sales portal for outside salesforce source of information.
- Train and understand the AutoQuotes system to manage products and back-up customer pricing quotes as needed.
- 25% travel required for trade shows, customer meetings, customer training sessions, etc.
- Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or other related field required.
- Five or more years of related experience required.
- High level of creativity and strong presentation skills, as this individual will be creating and delivering presentations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High-energy, outgoing, positive personality.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive individual that can take direction.
The hours for this position are 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
